Why Reef Stable Coral are Different
- Accurate Photos: Pictures of coral are edited only to closely represent what the coral will look like in your reef tank, no intentional oversaturation to try and make quick sales.
- Aquacultured Coral: Reef Stable places it's focus on aquaculture first. Any wild-collected coral goes through a full quarantine and dipping routine, and is placed on the farm for a period of time before selling.
- Top-Notch Customer Service: All coral is guaranteed to arrive alive, but when it doesn't, we take care of you. Unlike a number of other retailers that go missing as soon as something goes wrong, Reef Stable will take care of you!
Euphyllia, Torch, and Hammer Coral Care & Placement Tips
Euphyllia, Torch, and Hammer Coral are an LPS coral that typically prefer lower light, around 75-100 PAR. Additionally, these coral like low to moderate flow, but specifically from underneath. Too much flow can cause the flesh to hit the skeleton, causing cuts and infection.
In a typical mixed reef tank, Euphyllia, Torch, and Hammer Coral would be placed near the middle of the tank to acheive these light and flow requirements. Though if you do not keep high light SPS coral, then these coral can be placed higher in the tank permitting the light intensity is lower.
